Aareon Group has set itself strict ethical rules that guide it in all its business dealings. It demands the same of its suppliers of products and services as it does of itself. When selecting suppliers, it assesses not only economic performance but also ecological, social and ethical sustainability. The Code of Conduct for Suppliers sets the standard for these business relationships in terms of responsibility for people and the environment.

The good reputation of the Aareal Bank Group is based on the fact that the conduct of each individual employee meets high ethical standards. The Management Board of Aareal Bank has therefore adopted a Code of Conduct that forms the basis of the business conduct of the Aareal Bank Group. The Code of Conduct of Aareal Bank Group reflects core values such as respectful interaction with each other, avoiding conflicts of interest, and fair and responsible business behaviour. The Management Board of Aareon AG has endorsed this Code of Conduct in order to protect the integrity of Aareon AG, its business partners, customers and employees.

Whistleblowing system Aareon

Aareon AG uses a whistleblower system to make it possible to report violations of applicable laws and principles of behaviour, such as human rights and environmental risks or violations in its own business area and in the supply chain. By reporting such risks or violations, whistleblowers make a decisive contribution to protecting human rights and the environment.

Whistleblowers can choose to submit reports while maintaining complete anonymity. All reports are treated confidentially.
