Mainz, 5 February 2025 -  Aareon Group announced today that François Vauthier has joined the company as its new Chief Financial Officer in February. He succeeds Dirk Schilling, who has played a key role in shaping Aareon’s transformation process and is stepping down from the Management Board as planned and at his own request, having announced his decision well in advance. He will continue to support the company for a period of time in a strategic capacity.

"We are excited to welcome an accomplished leader like François to the Aareon team. With more than 20 years of experience in finance within the software and telecommunications industries, he will be critical in supporting our next chapter of growth,” says Harry Thomsen, CEO of the Aareon Group.

François Vauthier most recently served as CFO at Cegid, a leading European provider of cloud business management solutions, where he successfully supported the company’s organic and strategic growth initiatives.

“The digital transformation of the real estate industry offers significant potential,” emphasises François Vauthier. “I am very excited to help shape the customer- and future-oriented growth strategy of the Aareon Group and to contribute my international financial expertise.”

Additionally, Rumyana Trencheva, Chief Revenue and Product Officer, who has been instrumental in the company’s positive development and growth, has chosen to leave Aareon in the coming months at her own request. The responsibilities for the important tasks of the revenue function will be assumed by the members of Aareon’s Management Board until further notice.

“I want to extend my thanks to Dirk Schilling and Rumyana Trencheva for their exceptional dedication and partnership during an essential phase for Aareon. Their expertise and support have enabled us to successfully position Aareon for the future. I wish them both the very best in their next endeavors", states Harry Thomsen.
