II. Cookies
A cookie is a small text file that is stored on your computer by the operator of a website. Cookies are primarily used to make your visit to the website more convenient, safer and faster.
We use cookies to improve the comfort of using our websites, to ensure a flawless registration process or to obtain information about the use of our websites and thus to better tailor the design of our websites to our customers: technically necessary cookies (e.g. customer login) are set without being asked according to applicable law, other cookies (e.g. for tracking ) are only set with your consent. In doing so, information about your use of our website is stored in files on your computer for a limited period of time. When you visit our website again, the stored information is read out again, which for example saves you from having to enter data again.
You have the option of deleting cookies in your browser and changing your browser settings so that cookies are blocked if necessary or are only permitted after individual approval. If you block the storage of cookies, you may not be able to use this or another website to its full extent.
III. Processing of data when visiting our websites
(1) When you visit our web pages, our web servers store the following so-called server log files by default: the IP address of your PC and the date and time of your request, the type of your Internet browser and the operating system of your PC as well as the page from which you visit us. This is necessary in order to guarantee you a technically reliable operation. Any further personal reference based on this data is not established and is not intended. In the event of illegal use, we reserve the right to check the data for legal prosecution.
(2) On our websites we use the embedding of videos from youtube.com (USA). These videos are embedded using the YouTube mode with enhanced privacy mode. According to YouTube, in this mode, no cookies are set on your computer and no personally identifiable information is stored to play embedded videos. To retrieve and transmit the video, your IP address is transmitted to YouTube as a service of Google (USA). The international data transfer is secured by the service provider's registration with the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.
YouTube sets cookies when you click on the YouTube video player and navigate directly to the YouTube website. Because these cookies are set by YouTube, we have no direct control over their use. Read more on the YouTube video embedding information page. For more information from YouTube, please read the YouTube Privacy Policy (Google): https://policies.google.com/privacy?hl=en
(3) Our websites are hosted by Hubspot in Germany and also have functions with international transfer, including servers in the USA. Further, we use Hubspot for visitor analysis, which you can switch on or off for yourself at the top of this page by clicking the "Edit Privacy Settings". Hubspot is a company in the USA with a branch in Germany. Visitor analysis is used to gather information about the behaviour of visitors (tracking) to the website in order to improve their user experience. HubSpot uses cookies and the information collected includes IP address, geographical location, browser type, length of visit and pages viewed.
In addition, Hubspot functions are used for downloading marketing documents (e.g. white papers), contact forms and newsletters. The functions can be used independently by entering your email address and other details. The data is processed for the respective function. When subscribing to newsletters, the email address, name, date and time of registration as well as the date and time of the confirmation email (double opt-in procedure) are stored for the purpose of sending and verification. You can cancel the receipt of the newsletter at any time.
Information collected by Hubspot is stored on servers of Hubspot's service providers (Amazon AWS and Google Cloud with data centres in Germany). A foreign transfer of personal data to the USA and e.g. for support worldwide is secured by the service provider's registration with the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and EU standard contractual clauses. By activating the function, you agree to its use in accordance with the data protection notice.
